POPPING in for a ‘cuppa’ has taken on a whole new meaning at Lingfield Park after the launch of an innovative new cocktail bar.
Customers are asked to choose their own china tea-cup after they have opted for their cocktail of choice – all served in china teapots – to fit the cosy living room scene in a former seafood and Champagne bar at the Surrey course.
Little Nan’s is the brainchild of grandson Tristan Scutt, who has already received award-winning success with similar bars all of which have been designed by his business partner and fellow grandson Matt Sargent.
‘’Our Nan used to love coming to see the gee gees at Lingfield Park throughout her whole life and we are very excited to be working with the team there,’’ said Tristan.
Lingfield Park is no stranger to innovation and its Executive Director Andrew Perkins said the opening of Little Nan’s was yet another example of how his team are always thinking ahead.
“Racing is a fantastic day out but we are all too aware that we need to keep coming up with ideas to entertain our visitors,” he explained. ‘This is yet another new idea which was received brilliantly by our customers and we look forward to working with Little Nan’s to develop the cocktail bar further.”
